Singing Classes                                 

What: Once a week, group singing classes which are each 45 minutes in length.

            Students learn: the basics of the natural 'bel canto' singing technique, projecting 

            effortlessly without forcing or injuring the throat, modern songs chosen by the

            students, 'Breath Control', stage presence, tools that promote confidence in front

            of an audience, coping skills for stage anxiety, recording technique, ear training,

            etc.

            Small class sizes (3-8 students per class)

            Students can make high-quality CDs in the Recording Studio using professional,

            digital recording equipment.

            Students can participate in the year-end show with classmates.

Who: taught by University-Qualified Singing Teacher, Diana Drew

When: 1.) 'Pop Star' Classes: Tuesdays 7:15 - 8 pm  for ages 7 - 12

              2.) 'Canadian Idol' Singing Classes: Saturdays 11:15am - 12:30 pm (fall / winter 

                    sessions only)  for ages 10 -16

Professional, high-quality CD recording equipment available for students' use during singing classes and lessons. Professional recording equipment is used as a teaching tool, for demos for recording companies, for auditions and for pure enjoyment.
